As decided at the general assembly of the participants at the 3rd Balkan Anarchist Bookfair in Sofia,

we are glad to announce the

4th BALKAN ANARCHIST BOOKFAIR
(27-31 May 2009)

FIVE DAYS OF EVENTS
in THESSALONIKI, on Wednesday the 27th and Thursday the 28th of MAY
and ATHENS from Friday 29th to Sunday the 31st of MAY

We are inviting libertarian and anarchist publishers
and comrades from all over the Balkans and beyond

The general theme of the presentations during the bookfair will be:
"From the Balkans of exploitation and nationalism to the Balkans of solidarity and struggle"

WEDNESDAY:
18.00: Photo exhibition - a journey through the Balkans
19.30: Alexander Nakov: History of the Bulgarian Anarchist Movement
20.30: Martin Lux (Class War-Antifa): Antifascist action in Britain in the '70s-'80s / Social struggle today
22.00: Live balkan music - Vagabonds, Borderline

THURSDAY:
19.30: Spyros Marchetos/Loukis Chassiotis/Andrej Grubačić (historians from Greece and Serbia) ''Balkans of nationalism - Balkans of Solidarity''
22.00: Live balkan music - Yarim Baildsa Kokorec, Ensemble Grande Minor


ATHENS
FRIDAY:
18.30: Open assembly - workshop: presentation of the participants / anarchist publishing in the Balkans - problems, perspectives, collaboration / the next balkan anarchist bookfair

SATURDAY:
19.00: Martin Lux (Class War-Antifa): Antifascist action in Britain in the '70s-'80s / Social struggle today
20.30: Nestor Makhno (film and book presentation)

SUNDAY:
12.00: Andrej Grubačić - The anarchist movement in the Balkans
